Washington, DC, 6/2/11 – The French translation provider, primoscrib, has entered the U.S. market by engaging the services of Starting Gate Global, an outsourced business development and market research firm.

primoscrib, which has been in business since 2005 and has been a registered vendor for the United Nations since 2009 sees the U.S. market as an attractive avenue for growth. With an initial focus on the greater Washington, DC region, the company seeks to develop case studies and build initial client relationships. With a dedication to quality and value and a uniquely European approach to translation and project management, Primoscrib is interested in establishing long-term relationships with clients that provide maximum value.

“primoscrib takes a refreshing approach to deliver high-quality translations at a budget that is tailored to the needs of each client,” said Fabian Plath, Project Manager. “We see tremendous opportunity in the greater DC region, because primoscrib has such a compelling offering. Our approach to pricing is very unique. We see each translation job as a distinct project and are able to offer pricing that includes edits and post-translation corrections, without charging our client over and over.”

primoscrib expects to gain an initial number of clients before establishing a physical office in Washington, DC. It is this kind of commitment to efficiency that enables primoscrib to consistently deliver more value than many of its competitors. During the initial launch phase, the company is seeking to establish relationships with primarily law firms and technology companies, for whom correct and timely translation is an essential part of their global client satisfaction.

In December 210, primoscrib joins the French American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) of Washington, DC.

Being a member of the FACC is an excellent way for primsocrib to gain insight into the US market, as it prepares to make its entry. primoscrib aims to develop its market share with both US firms and multinationals based in the US.

"We first need to understand how the translation market is organized to adapt our development strategy. Down the road we may wish to open a US office, but our first step is to gather as much information as possible in order to be ready and effective when the time is ripe" explained Stéphane Barrier, CEO of primoscrib..
